O. Lover

I wish that the first word that came to mind when thinking of me were "warrior." That would be incredibly rewarding, if only because then I could walk around barefoot anywhere, with everyone being too afraid to refute my ideas. Also, I feel like being a warrior would give me the confidence to do whatever I wanted.

However, I will stay a little door mouse. The warrior lion in me just isn't roaring, so I'll continue the mousy life.

French toast was enjoyed this morning, even if it was only two pieces. For how much I love that delight, it's a rarity that I can ever eat more than a few bites before getting full. I don't know if that's a testament of the richness of the food or the smallness of my tummy. Unless I get out some measuring tape, I will probably never know.

Last night, I Olive Gardened with my Megan. She is aces and we gossiped for 3 hours without running out of extremely important news. And at the end of that 3 hours, she hit on my husband and slowly inched toward the door. So slowly, as a matter of fact, that it took her another half hour to actually get there. Megan saves my sanity and she keeps me in touch with the girly life; she is better than any chat room or group bonding experience. If only she could find a way to get married and live in the same house as Caleb and I. Magical!

I'm very grateful to have so much family around. It's really a benefit, if only because I don't have to make any new friends in my new neighborhood!

Here he is.
