She's Got Me Spendin'

The mood I am in, as of late, makes me want to blow our life savings on whatever the heck I want - DVDs, sandals, fancy dinners. It also makes me want to convince Caleb that we should take a weekend trip to Vegas and get remarried all over again. That sounds so impromptu that it just might overtake whatever antsy feeling I have inside of me.

I have a little itchy, a little scratchy to go to Shyla's orchestra performance tomorrow; I wish it was just her, because I love to hear her play. Unfortunately, I would have to listen to all the other rockin' performers doing some rockin' Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm just saying, it sounds like torture.

Because of the lack of other materials, I've started reading the Harry Potter series again. Last night, I finished Harry Potter the second; I had forgotten how petrifying the battle with Voldemort is. When I saw the movie in the theater, I closed my eyes during that whole scene! What a wimp. But, through all the terror, I still love the Weasley twins and I completely want to have Dumbledore's baby. But (not to spoil the furthering of the plot) the baby option isn't possible anymore. Or is it?

If I cannot buy, I must bake. There are so many things I want to bake, including cookies, bread, cinnamon rolls and brownies. Lately, I've been doing the cake mix thing, but it's not fulfilling enough. However, the funfetti cake that was so lovingly bestowed upon me has been my main sustenance for the past couple of days.

The baking is not really an option though, as I'm trying to be frugal, as well as low key. If I keep it low key, I will stay out of everyone's way. That, and I have no yeast.
